I have finally got round to finishing my Vmar edge 540. I have to say that after 22 years of flying and building RC, the kit was very poor quality. After reading some of the threads here I thought I was in for a very tough time flying the model, however much to my surprise it flys pretty darn well!! Dead stick no problems, rolls quite neutrally and gave me 6 very enjoyable flights this weekend. However! the film on the wings has already come off!!!! and WHATEVER you do, you must reinforce the sides of the fuz where the Aluminium wing tubes enter, as they are no where near strong enough or produced accurately enough to prevent wing movment during flight!!! BE VERY AWARE!! I mounted ply ribs mounted across the fuz, then bound the tubes to these with thread and epoxy ala push rods.

Overall, needs some tweeks to make 'safe', poor Kit quality, will never buy one again, you get what you pay for!!!!
