Default RE: Funtana Conversion Battery Question

Stephen,

Your conversion looks good. As far as battery cooling, I have 2 large oval openings on either side of the motor that allow air from the cowl into the plane. Then there is a opening near the tail on the bottom to let air out to allow air to flow through the fuse. If you take a look at the pics that I posted, you will see the openings in the firewall. So far this has been good as far as cooling the batteries. I also have removed the balsa slant that it in the cowl area for air flow.

You will have to let me know how it goes after you get to fly it.
