Excellent car for a beginner to the hobby.
Very easy to use as most of the parts are standard/basic parts that are try'd and tested in many other models.
The shaft driven system will be very strong so, (as was pointedout earlier belt replacment goes away). The rtr kit has EVERYTHING in there bar, fuel and batteries. Take out the box and play with it

I have on of these in the office. It'll be fast enought to keep you excited for a while and slow enough to not scare the hell out ya.
.15 in a 1/10th...great way to go.
