Well, I finaly talked myself into selling my Traxxas and "Though I was stepping up" into a bigger, better, funner truck. Well I am not trying to bash the darn thing, but I was so dissapointed in the truck it has made me sick. After talking with tech support at cen racing, they convienced me that all the problems have been worked out so I hauld butt down to the rc hobby shop (had to sell my liver and left arm to pay for the thing) and got the only one they had. So I ran home to get it going, but not after 7 tanks at idle. So I started the break in process on a friday night, having to complete it on a Saturday morning and all the problems came about. The front stering rod rattled thru the center link durring break it! I guess when it was assembled someone or thing tightened it too tight and striped the plastic. No Biggie, I will adhesive it back together unitll I can get a new part. Ok, finally i get to drive the damn thing so I go to a field near by and it ran like crap. I tried tuneing as best as i could (for propper break in) and had problems. I had a few hours left before the rc shop closed so I ran up there and ther owner (who sold me the truck) tuned the moter and got it purring like a mountain lion! YEA! He goes to run it at his shop and BAM, the rear right side drive shaft came out... What the hell??? He looked at me and shruged his shoulders, (remember this is the guy who sold me the car) and said to call the manufacture on Monday. I noted to him about the problem with the front and having to adhesive it and he said "Sorry, we don't stock parts for Genesis". Well, that left me with no choice but to go home pretty dissapointed. I called first thing Monday morning to see what could be done, just ship it back they said. I must say, allthough I was dissapointed in what happened with the truck, their tech support might be the nicest people to talk to. He said they would take a look at it and see what was going on with the truck and fix any problems. Not much else I could do. So I'm without my tuck now, and my friend is playing with my old one while I wait. But I must say, allthough I am a little dissapointed with what has happened, I still can't wait to get it back! Just looking at it, It Is AWSOME! We will just have to see what CEN says now!
