Default RE: What for a 2nd plane?

ORIGINAL: killerG

What would be a good second plane? I have mastered my 40 size trainer and want to move to something more aerobatic. I think I would like to stick with the tricycle landing gear, I am not sure though. Also, probably a 60 size plane. What are some of my options? I have been looking at the GOLDBERG TIGER 60 intermediate or maybe the SKYLARK 56 MARK II. What do you guys think? And I can convert it to a tail dragger also. Any other good options?

Thanks

Graham

I've seen a number of flyers at our local club move happily into Big Sticks from their trainers.

Take a look at the Great Planes 60 size Stick. Also, Hangar 9 has the Ultra Sticks which can be built with either flaps and ailerons, or just ailerons. I believe they also offer the option of tricycle or tail-dragger configurations. If so, one of those might give you good opportunities to grow without having to invest in a new airplane along the way.
