I just bought plans for an A-26 off eBay. This will be my first attempt building something from scratch as opposed to a kit. I have a few questions. First....the plans are for .15 size engines and I'm wondering just how much I'm going to have to scale it down....what would be a "typical" size...say wingspan....for a twin engine 1/2A airplane? Second...I'm trying to decide what type of engines to use. I was planning on using a couple TD .051s to be able to run off a common fuel tank and to help the CG a little; plus a little extra power...or would I be better off using a couple of Black Widows? I could always top off the first tank started before launch.
