as for the wing center, mine came the same way, just add balsa and that´s it, or leave the gap on the bottom, as the belly will hide it, i added balsa.
i have finished and delivery this plane to the owner almos 2 years ago, and until now he haven´t flew her, so i don´t remember trows, cg and don´t know know she flies, sorry
the slyding canopy uses www.planesplus.com large pneumatic ram (used on theyr f-86 Sabre) this ram is attached under the sliding portion of the canopy, and linked to the "e"shaped fiberglass part that comes in the kit, this part is glued to canopy frame, and you have to cut a groove at fuse area on the protuding part(just like the real thing), and at the front of the canopy, you have to glue a "c" shaped part of plastic or alluminium channel to make it slide over the fuse lip, also, you will need to make a lip for the canopy portion slide under the front winshield when closed, unfortunately, i have no puctures...
i have spent also a lot of time pannelling wings and stabs, unfortunately ythe pictures doesen´t shows them neither the weathering....
