Thanks for the reply. That's what I was afraid of. I can't even find that much history on the aircraft. It's a major contradiction to the Gee Bee. I can find just about any information on that aircraft, yet nothing on the preceding years Bendix Trophy winner. (This aircraft.)

I talked to a guy at my LHS, and he said I could call the Smithsonian for plans. (As a start.)

Any other suggestions from those that have built their own aircraft?
