Test flew the T2 Tiger with less than ideal conditions. Dark overcast skies, 2 Degrees C and 30 km winds. The power plant is a well used FX40 with a MAAC mini tuned pipe and an APC 10-5 prop. It turns out that the engine has plenty of power for the plane. I had to increase the rudder throw over the high rate setting to maintain control on the runway. Once in the air the plane seems to enjoy slicing through the wind and is a great performer. It makes lots of whistling noise as it cuts its path through the sky. I have the elevator on high rates and it seems like its running out of elevator on landing. Any one else notice this or do I just need more speed for landing this plane?? Thankx for your feedback.
