RE: Slow Stick Batteries
The motor I have is a brushless (eflight 370). the power and efficiency is far beyond a brushed motor.
GWS 350 is brushed and can be timed, you would think they would come timed and from the factory they are. The problem is when they a put in to the gear box the plug poles are reversed so the prop will turn in the correct direction. This makes the motor run in reverse and it is slightly out of sync.
Charging is a double edge sword, overheat them they won't work, under charge and you get almost no fight time. There my method, I charge at '1/2C' when I have lots of time, such as at home in the evenings, I charge '1C' when I need them within the hour. I charge at '1-1/2 C' when I am in the failed and want to fly asap.
So what is 'C' C=1time the size of the batteries your using, (800MaH is equal to 0.8 amps or 8/10 of an amp hour)
Tuning a GWS motor- I'll try to find a link for you.
