what are your plans for the car? Just for bashing or is racing in the futue?

For bashing you can't go wrong with the OS 18 CVRX for $159 or so at tower.

For racing with pull start you I prefer the hpi .12r ss which came stock with the rs4 3 SS and I'm more than happy with the power and ease of tune.
