This weekend i was forced to use 30% heli fuel in my OS32 powered Venture because the store ran out of my usuall 15% heli fuel. I was under the impression that 30% was going to make my engine more powerfull and the heli should outperform its usuall abilities, but instead it seemed to be on the week side on power and it was smoking more than it ever did before so it seemed to be running rich. When i used 15% I could pull out of a hover verry fast without my engine bogging doun but now with the 30% its started bogging almost to a stall when i climb out fast. So i first leaned it some and it got worst then i richened it even more that before and it did better but im still not shure why do i have to richen more for higher nitro than for fuels with less nitro? anyway the person who sold me the 30% said i could rilly tell the advantage of useing 30% over 15% when i start flying 3-D but so fare it seems 15 % makes the OS32 screem with more 3-D power. anyone know what i might be doing wrong? Ive got to burn up the rest of the 30% and would like to make the best of it.
