Default RE: Yellow P47 Build up

The rivets were made by simply pushing a mechanical pencil without the lead into the FliteMetal. This creates a little donut shape that looks close to a rivet. I had a G62 mounted in her originally and she STILL needed substantial nose weight. Since that time I have moved the G62 to another aircraft and I'm thinking of using a G45 I have just sitting here. I'm not happy about the adding of so much nose weight, especially since I'm switching to the slightly lighter G45. She did not fly because I was never happy with the Yellow Aircraft retracts. They just feel to weak. I also had lots of trouble getting the set screws to hold the gear on! I could just picture the gear falling off or rotating after takeoff. That would not be pretty. These problems scrubbed my test flight from last year and were responsible for the lose of interest, until your thread came along. Maybe I will order the Robart gear and start over.

BTW: I installed HS645 all around for the servos (except throttle).
