The mustangs had nav lights also: White light on the trailing edge of rudder at the max chord point. Also red/blue-green teardrop lights on the top/bottom of the wing near the tips. Best thing is to find pictures of the mustang you are doing, or if you arn't doing a specific mustang, then pick one in particular and copy it's lights.
I think I was brain dead when I answered the question. Yes the Mustang had nav lights on the tips and on the rudder near the bottom half. Sorry for the misinformation. As for the landing light I believe someone here on RCU put a landing light on his plane much like the full scale. You might try a search for the thread. Sorry again.
