I was looking around my workshop and I found some Cox .049 engines and some coroplast. I was thinking about cutting out a flat wing of coroplast in the shape of those ripper and slasher combat models. Then I will cut out some wing tips, make some elevons, and use some Hitec micro servos on it.

Would this fly or do I need an airfoil? Is the .049 powerful enough? I was thinking it would have an average chord of 5.5" and a span of 24".
