From time to time guys come here with the same question, or even declaration that they are about to try it. So far I can't think of any examples of positive feedback. There was a guy with a 1/2A /coro CL plane called the GRIN REAPER[ best name ever given to any airplane] and it was a big success. I have built a couple of 18"x18" 1/2A PBFs that were made out of 1/4"x1/4" balsa sticks that fly as well as any PBF [I'll bet], and are a hoot to fly even with a BLACK WIDOW. It weighed 9 ozs RTF.
