That receiver plug is for a battery if you want to run one. Most receivers use BEC (battery elimination circuitry) that takes a bit of power from the main battery pack so you don't have to run a separate one for the radio gear. Normally in an electric car, you don't have a reason to run enough servos to need a separate receiver pack. On a nitro car, of course you'd need a receiver pack.
Ah, okay... that makes sense. Do you have any ideas on a battery pack that would work well with this car, and that charger I have in the picture?

Those are stadium truck tires on there, which are probably gonna be a bit heavy for the stock buggy gearing... If you put a buggy body on there it's gonna look silly. You'll wanna be careful buying wheels for that one - maybe measure to be sure, but I think they had different size axles than the more current cars. You can still get wheels for it, but just be careful that they will fit.
Okay...... when I get wheels for it, I'll make sure they'll fit. Actually, I figgured I would just get the ones that came on it originally.
