I have been building a Byron F16 1990 vintage. The fuse is polyester resin so the use of that in the fuse is OK but don't use anything but epoxy resin anywhere near the foam components even if covered in balsa because I have seen the polyester resin seep through balsa or the joints and desolved the foam cores.
