Elvis,
I have used the Zap finishing resin in the past. While it will do the job, I prefer to use Anchor Bond products. For finishing my foam core wings on my P-47, I used the 30-150 resin. 30 is the working time (or pot life) and 150 is the cure time.
It is much thinner than the Zap finishing resin, which means that you will use less (lighter weight), and alcohol can be used, but is not necessary. It also comes with pumps, so you never have to guess on the ratio, and it does not contain Mercaptan, which is a health hazard.
Like I said before, the Zap will work, but IMO, the Anchor Bond is far better.
