Default RE: Alpha Corsair vs 3d Flyer

except that it does not have elevator control. So, I kind of feel like I am not really "flying" a complete plane
AlFAS have elevator control...no rudder. Doesn't really NEED it as they are handlaunched, and I've yet to fly one with any adverse yaw needing rudder correction. If you HAVE to have rudder , people have done it and wouldn't be that difficult.

GWS Corsair has full house controls + landing gear. + ya won't feel so bad if ya dork it.

I own and fly both.

the ALFA is MUCH faster on less power ! Handles the wind better due to the airfoil. high level of completion looks great . $$$

my GWS is full-house, along with a scale vario prop setup, landing gear and lights.

It does not do nearly as well in the wind due to the undercambered airfoil.
more of a "build" and the stock foam doesn't look so great . $

I like them both.

good luck !
