I just checked on the EARsc Website (they make the ISODAMP grommets for the SoftnSafe mount...

The bad news is the grommets (blue) are rated from 13 to 41 degrees C, and will tolerate occasional 82 degrees C. they must get hotter than that in use....

ISODAMP C1002 looks like the closest to the material they use... they do it by colour

They sell the Grommets in Versadamp, a softer but more temp tolerant material..

The spec sheets also say that they have low resistance to Alcohol. perhaps fuel attacks them as well
