You can go to www.fmadirect.com and check out the FS5 Rx, it has digital signal recognition and failsafe presets and is used on PPM. Also the FS8 Rx, the optional Co-Pilot can be added, but is NOT necessary to accomplish the goal of a failsafe FM radio. I have both the FS5 and FS8, simply put, they work. However, in my turbines I use PCM.
