Biplanes generally require upthrust.. not downthrust.

As for landing these.. you can't just pull the power off and let them glide. They have so little inertia that drag quickly slows the airplane below stall speed. Since the Ultimate and Tribute both have landing gear, just flying them in under power and when the wheels touch, pull the power off.
