I went as per the addendum, and the hinge line now is behind the lead weight in the LE. Its a bit of pain making the clearance for the hinge, but once you've done a couple you know how much to remove.

I was pleased with the end resault, have more than enough travel, and the grooves are still hidden by the covers on the TE.

As soon as its all glassed I'l take a pic to show you.

The aileron moves a lot more scale like IMO as well.
