Default RE: Correct meshing distance(play) for gears

Tyre Pressure,

When setting the mesh on the GENESIS you will want to use a different method. You want to set the mesh rather tight as oppossed to leaving a small "plastic size" gap. Reason being is that when you have a gear mesh that consists of one or more gears being plastic, then they "slide" on eachother, whereas if both gears are metal they tend to "grip" eachother and push away from eachother. Especially when you have 5hp pushing against them. So what you want to do is set the mesh as tight as you can get it, while it still being free. Even if there is a small amount of binding, it is okay. The gears will work there way into a smooth pattern. Thanks for your question Tyre Pressure. This should clear things up for alot of people.
