RE: Any positive tips on self teaching on .40 trainer
Carl, Boy some of these guys get nasty don't they!! I am in the same boat you are in, Teaching myself how to fly. I have had my share of bumps and burses and it would sure be nice to have an instructer handy to help out but there just isn't one close enough to just run over and get a few lessons. What I have read is sure good to hear. The part about moving the stick toward the low wing on approach is a good and easy tip, easy on the sticks and don't panic is good also, I tired that right after I read it and it isn't that hard to get used to. The landing tips you are getting are sure nice for me. I read one post of a beginner asking for help and all he got was abuse, that is not what he was asking for, he needed some how to instructions and that is what you got. Good job guys.
