glope, the reason those asking for help with teaching themselves to fly get som much static is simply because noone wants to aid in another person getting hurt. These planes are not toys, and are in fact quite dangerous when not handled properly. The one main thing I or anyone else cannot stress enough, is that if you insist on attempting to fly on your own, is to do it in the middle of nowhere so that you cannot hurt anyone else or their property. If you understand the risks to you and your money invested, that's your choice to make. Just don't go and get some innocent bystander involved.
