Carl,
I'm 14! Most of the people at my field are 60+! Some down to their 30's and my best friend who started flying when I did iss 14 too.. I love to just sit there and talk to those guys! They have some of the funniest stories you'll ever hear! And if I crashed, any one of them would be willing to help me fix/buy anything I needed. Don't let your ego get in the way of your/our fun!
