Default New to the Warbird Forum, and just took the plunge on a TF P-47 .60 size

Well, I want to thak everyone for all that has been posted on this bird. I have been deliberating along time now about building a warbird from a kit. I have put together quiet a few planes, but never a kit. I have even a few 1/12 birds( FW-190, IL-2, Typhoon), all fiberglass fuse's and glassed wings--actually, ripstop and polycrylic. I recovered a somethin extra, rebuilt a Carl Goldberg Cub. Put together a World Models P-51(.46 size). So, I am hoping this will be kind to me. I have been trying to decide between the TF P-47 and the FW-190, also from TopFlite. So, the next go around will be the FW-190.

I know many questions have been asked here. And, I promise, I will try not to be redundant. However, I feel somethings need to be asked twice to refresh the pro's and con's of what is being used 'lately'. For starters, the next purchase will be an engine for my nbew bird. I am heavily looking at the OS 1.20FS. Will this fit? Is it powerful enough? Many have said TopFlite underpower their kits. And, please, if anyone has the kit flying now, I would love to know all the specs. Secondly, the other big purchase will be the retracts. I know nothing about pneumatic retracts, so I am relying solely on this forum.

Again, thank you all for your input. Please feel free to flood this post with pictures.
