Incorrect. Everyone gets the same amount of plays. No bonus plays for upgrades or anything like that. It is now 100% a matter of skill and luck. You can spend all the money you want here but it won't increase your poker plays, points or decrease them.
Also if you missed any days you can now make up the lost days anytime. Missing plays are accrued at the rate of 35 per day. If you haven't played the game yet you would have 35 x 9 plays (35 plays/day times 9 days)
