Hi All,
I have for many years been wanting to model the A-10. The only kit I have found is very large and quite expensive. Add in the twin turbines and it becomes extreamly expensive. So, I have decided to scratch build one from M.C. Beauleiu's plans available through RC Scale Models.
I had the shaped parts laser cut by Tank's Hanger Aircraft Modeling. The parts arrived quickly and were of excellent quality. You can check out pics of the parts at Paul's site:

Be sure to check his scale rockets. They're awsome.
After starting to frame the center wing section, I learned the wing ribs were drawn wrong along with the fin/rudder ribs. I figured I had waisted enough time on trying to get everything to fit right so I had Larry at Jet Hanger Hobbies cut some foam wing cores for me which came out perfect and I purchased foam cutting equipment and cut the fin/rudder cores myself.
Here are some pics of what I've done so far.
