No. Thats a myth. There's another thread out here somewhere with a link. To make a long story short, a guy a Kodak was screwing around with some chemicals and created it by "accident". Wasn't marketed as a glue until later years, as a result of another "accident".
It works real good to put small cuts together(I use from time to time too), but I would NOT recommend it. Even the foam safe stuff is a very strong irratent(sp?) and can cause bad allergies to develop(same goes for epoxy - also not good to pour into a wound, plus it sets slower
