Wait a sec...can a user install their own photo sceneries with APFD! I can actually take my digital camera to my own flying field, make a panaroma image, then make a scenery for the simulator?
If this is true where do I find detailed info on this?

You can do this with AFP also. Go to:
http://www.rc-sim.de/index_en.htm and download some photorealistic sceneries for AFP and read the readme file. Should be links to the author's sites that have how tos. Search this forum too I know there was posts about it at one time.
Yes you can do your own flying field, "SparlingField" in the new APFD is our field. I took the pictures of it and it is not as easy as it looks. You need a good camera not just a digital camera. The better the camera the better the scene will be. I used a EOS Rebel Digital and took a lot of pictures before I learned how everything needed to be. I still don't know all I should about the process but I am learning.
