After much carving, razor planing and sanding, I have finished the real 'building' of my Contender. Now it's on to the covering and equipment installation. Looking back, the building wasn't as bad as some have described and I'm really looking forward to seeing it in the air. Here's a picture or two of the frame work...

One caution for those building one: Determine the location of your wing mounting holes based on the actual position of the maple blocks. The marks on the plan were a bit too close together and if I hadn't checked, the holes would have been right on the edge of the blocks. Measure the distance between the center of the blocks, and center the holes appropriately on the wing center-line. The offset marked on the plans for the holes measured from the trailing edge was right on.
