I've been using 6vcc packs for over 10 years with no ill effects at all. Have been using 5cell 3300mha NiMh now for over a year with no problems. Rember when propo gear first hit the market they used 4cell dry packs (6volt) and never had any thing burnout with these packs. Have been using digital servos now for 3 years (JR) with no problems. As Mighty-Mouse said You're listening is to the wrong people. What have they been using, 5cell packs or 6vcc Regs with 7.2 or 8.4 volt packs. I have seen a lot of regulators put out way more than 6vcc, either in a spike or overload.
