Well, Woodland had a slight crosswind today about 30 off the nose. The jet likes to weathervane alot. Flew with authority. 13lbs with UAT fuel. The MW44 runs great even though I thought it might be unattainable after a few months. Sara at Wren is a real pleasure to work with. Once i moved the CG back about 1" and reduced ELE throw, the left snap was almost impossible to re-create in any configuration. The tailhook works good for scraping the ground! Overall, a great simple, short and easy project. I'm glad I built it as it really is a kick to fly aerobatics with. 6 flights today and not a hiccup! Flies with the rough thrust to weight as the A10.
