Default RE: Yellow A4 Skyhawk MW44 Flies!

Lovely model. May I use your experience to get mine built equally as successfully as yours? I am about to start on the JHH A-4, similar size and weight as the YA, and was wondering if the Wren 44 is the right engine for it. I presume you are very satisfied with that combination?
Did you keep the weight down by opting for manual start without the permanently attached starting motor?
Have you used nicads or lipolys for the ecu/pump?
What amount of fuel are you carrying, and what flight time are you getting from it?
I have ordered the optional wing drop tanks, I see you removed them in the flying photos, have you tried flying with them on?
Where did you get that scale noseleg from?
Have you fitted brakes? To the mains or to the nosewheel?
Are you operating the arrestor hook by servo or by air ram?
What is your refuelling probe constructed from?

Finally, what is that blue background in all your photos? I seem to have some vague memory of it and its name, but I haven't seen it for 2 or 3 months now. The background here has turned permanently dark grey and wet[]

TIA,

Harry
