Bob, Im using Hysol 9460 on my Polyester F-16, works great!! I am using the aplicator Gun ($19.99 from McMaster-Carr) to create nice fillets around the bulkheads, but you could easily do the same with your fingers.

Install the bulkhead, then use a small flat head screwdriver to cantilever between the bulkhead and the fuselage and use your finger to tuck in part of the fillet glue between the fuse and the former.
