gjeffers, I don't have the tank on the CG of my UCD because I'm running a Saito 100 in it and I don't have a pump. By the way, I just maiden my second UCD 60 yesterday. Somehow we got a break in the weather here in Idaho and I got a gift where I could fly this plane. I've had it completed for about a month, just never flew it. After I trimmed it out it flew great. I'd forgotten how my fun this plane is. I flew it 5 times (13 minute flights) At the end I was getting pretty good with it. I was able to do hovers in the 30 second range, which is good for me. I'm using a 16x4W prop and 30%. This is a brand new engine so I was being a little careful but I had plenty of power. This plane had very little coupling to the wheels during knife edge. That surprised me. Going both directions it KE pretty good. I had to give just a little bit of up elevator, but not bad. I expected more problems with it. I was pleasantly surpised. Had a great day flying. It isn't supposed to be this nice in Decembler. Tomorrow looks good to. I might steal a couple of hours from work and do it again. I was very impressed with this new plane. My weight is 7 lbs 4 1/2 oz. She really flys good. I have an extra YS 110 around. I'm tempted to installed it and move the tank. Is yours on the CG? How does yours fly?
Thanks,
Barry
