I´m new in RC aircraft, I´ve only 10 months flying. After I finished my beginners course with a high wing trainer, I started my aerobatic basic course with a World Models T-34.
Now I want to get my 3rd plane and I like the scale or semi-scale planes with great looks, my candidates are : A World Models P-51D 0.46, a World Models Rambler 0.46 or a Thunder Tiger Champion 45L.
Could you give me any suggestion?
Thanks
The Rambler is a very nice plane. While it is more of an aerobatic trainer than anything else, it is a nice flying plane and a floater. When you knife edge the Rambler you will have to hold some down elevator to compensate for the dihedral. IF you plan on using the wheel pants, invest in some SIG wheel pants brackets - the stock setup will rip out very quickly, especially on a grass field.
For a scale/semi-scale plane it depends on what you want. Do you want to build or do you want an ARF?
The Jack Stafford Rearwin Speedster is a great flying high wing plane. Be advised that the MAJORITY of the
JS kits are BUILDER'S KITS.
The WP P-51 is also nice.
