Definately go with the OS 160 FX if you are looking for great 3D performance. If you are an experienced 3D flier, I would mount the elevator servos in the rear and the rudder servo under the canopy and use pull-pull. Although this will put the CG behind the Lanier recommendation, this is where I have found it to perform best for 3D. Airplane shows no bad tendencies with a more aggressive CG setup.
