Tahustvedt....Way to go[sm=sunsmiley.gif]. Your program appears to have the correct physics for a tail slide. All you need is full power and full down elevator when the plane is at 8 o'clock when rotating forward and you should wind up back into a hover. I think I will have to try out XTR[sm=idea.gif]. My present 2 simulators will flip the plane the wrong direction in the slide[sm=angry.gif]. I have not tried this years updates to my present 2 simulators. If they can't do it they should issue a patch. Congratulations

.
PS: Sverre- Now I believe you also[X(]. Thank You for your effort.

I made a video of this. I hope I am doing it right in the sim. I'm just crashing it into the ground after the flip but that doesn't matter (?). Youcan clearly see where the elevator is going. It's a relatively high resolution video. Let me know if I need to try it differently. I get consistent results when I try it in the sim.

Actually, I was flying at home a week ago with a friend of mine, and I performed this maneuvre (not knowing what it was called) and said "Wow, the sim correctly interpreted the elevator when I fell backwards".
