Hi again Tahustvedt

. I just got one of my simulators to do the slide correctly. I edited the TMD file with a word processor[sm=idea.gif]. I changed the propwash factor to a negative 1.3 and the plane will flop forward with full up elevator in the tail slide[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]. Then the plane went straight down after the half rotation as I suspected it would. It could fool someone in a short video however the flip would be impossible to complete with the negative propwash value. Sounds easier for me to try XTR[sm=drowning.gif].

I made a video of this. I hope I am doing it right in the sim. I'm just crashing it into the ground after the flip but that doesn't matter (?). Youcan clearly see where the elevator is going. It's a relatively high resolution video. Let me know if I need to try it differently. I get consistent results when I try it in the sim.

Actually, I was flying at home a week ago with a friend of mine, and I performed this maneuvre (not knowing what it was called) and said "Wow, the sim correctly interpreted the elevator when I fell backwards".
