Default GET the LEAD OUT !
I am assembling a Lanier 120 size, 540T Edge for a guy in our club. He supplied an OS 160 FX motor, elevator servos are in the tail, and the battery is WAY up front, flat againest the back of firewall. The CG is stated at 4 to 4 3/4" back from leading edge at fuse. I want a "mild 4 1/4" for this pilot as a start point. THIS THING is tail heavy!!! I want to bolt the weight to the front of firewall, but early test weights showed it needs about ONE POUND OF LEAD !!! [] Anyone else out there with this same plane and CG situation? Is this possible? Thanks in advance..........lownslo.
