I would love for someone to come out with a pattern plane for gas. Unfortunately, the weight limits make it almost impossible. I was interested in the Spectre but, with my job and hours, for the next several years scratch building is out of the question.
When someone comes out with an ARF for gas I will jump on it.
I don't have any idea whether it is a real option yet and whether any have flown, but there seem to be a few people putting ZDZ40's into to Composite-ARF Impacts. You will find them in the Composite-ARF build thread elsewhere in this part of the forum.
The Impact isn't quite ARF, but is certainly a more than competent model.
