it works OK, but if you push hard enough the fuel tubing will buckle up and not prevent it from completely bottoming out... but it does ALOT to help save things.
You must be talking about cutting the tubing longways to slide it on there without taking the end off the rod. Cause if you slide it down the rod without cutting the tube there is no way it would buckle!!!. Your truck would have to weigh like 30lbs. and be dropped off a 3-story building
