Well finally got a reply from a direct email contact at Cen Racing. I was asking about warranty as above. Here was their reply

Apart from not having a great grasp of the English langauge the guy's got the wrong end of the stick. No replys from a Cen representative and no sensible replys from their customer service people [:@]
