OK, last work on the issue, have a look at the benchmarks on the following link. These folks take a PC and benchmark it in various games using all the currently available video cards. If you click each game, you will see a graph showing the relative speed of each card. This way you can see what your invesment in a video card is going to buy you.

The only trick here would be to figure out which of the games benchmarked uses the graphics processor in a manner similar to AFPD. Maybey Don could comment.
