A big thank you to all fellow modellers who provided encouragement for me to repair my big ME 262 after the accident at Pampa earlier this year and then again at Wroughton at the end of the season.
Two bad luck crashes with the same model in one year was a hard thing to face but I am now pleased to say the model is all back together again just waiting for some decent weather.
The model is approx 2kg lighter after the rebuild as I took the oppertunity to change a few things and lighten some parts. details of the model are :-

Power 2 x AMT Olympus.

I must say a big thank you to Bennie at AMT for servicing one of my motors over christmas when I noticed some damage to the compressor wheel as I was bolting it back into the model. Looks like it had eaten something in the crash. To fix it over christmas and return it to me in 1 week is superb service.
