If you check the stiffness of your mount after 50 odd flights you will find that it will be much looser than when new

A good sign of this is to look at the blackvalve cover at the top of the cylinder head - if this has paint on it or shows sign of wear on the sides then the mount is too knackered ( lets the engine kick into the cowl) a while back in this thread i also posted pics of the new and knackered rubbers.
I acutally found the gator mount to be absolutely fine as a budget mount. Having said that i have not used anything else yet so have nothing to compare it to. An interesting measure of how good a mount is is on the hyde site - where the increase in current draw from the servos at neutral positions with the engine running depends on how good the mount is. Would be interesting to try this on the capiche.
